Well, as a busy mom of four and an Early Childhood Development (ECD) teacher with over 20 years of experience, I always felt like something was missing in the ECD world.

No matter which school my children attended, I kept coming back to the same feeling—something wasn’t quite right.

And then it hit me:
It wasn’t just about academics or structured learning.
What was missing… was the feeling of home.

That warm, loving space where children are not only educated, but also deeply nurtured. Where they are hugged when they cry, celebrated when they thrive, and supported through every up and down. I wanted my children to be in a place where they felt safe, seen, and loved—while receiving an excellent early education.

So we created it.

At L.O.K., we built the kind of environment I wished for as a mom and knew was needed as a teacher. A place where both children and parents feel truly supported—because we believe when families are strong and connected, children flourish.
